In one paragraph

Mgr. Jan Vytřísal (*1993) is the author of the novel The Consultant and three further works in progress (The Architecture of Truth, Translation of Reality, Without Intent). Alongside his writing he works as a Czech attorney-at-law (Bar 20461), co-founder and partner of the Brno-based law firm IUSTORIA. He writes about systems that describe an event precisely — and still miss the truth.

Full bio

Mgr. Jan Vytřísal, attorney-at-law registered with the Czech Bar Association under no. 20461. Co-founder and partner of the law firm IUSTORIA in Brno. His practice centres on litigation — civil and criminal — commercial negotiation, and mediation. He works mainly where the legal frame is not the only layer of the dispute.

Before moving into law he spent nine years as a presenter and editor in radio. The experience with live speech and the structure of conversation now informs how he works with disputes, negotiations and text.

Founder of VELAR Dynamics (social simulations under pressure). Publishes regularly — the Topology of the Real essay cycle.

Father of two sons. Brno is home.
